DE-BOXING OPERATIVE – Level 1

Based at Maryland Farm, Ditcheat

 

Due to staff turnover, we currently have a vacancy for a full time De-boxing Operative (40 hours).

 

The job is of a very physical nature, and main duties performed include lifting, placing onto conveyors and stacking 20kg blocks of cheese – both in wooden maturation boxes and as naked blocks. The role starts as Level 1 but after a designated period of time forklift training could be taken to move up a level.

 

The ideal candidate will be physical strong, have an eye for detail (inspection of blocks essential) and work well as part of a team. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
