Based at Maryland Farm, Ditcheat

 

We currently have a vacancy for an Operative (Level 3) for the Whey Plant and Butter Department.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining normal production running conditions using logical reasoning and decision making to operate and adjust production equipment parameters (such as Scada systems) as per the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s). will work steadily and methodically to carry out routine manual handling tasks.

 

A level 3 Operative will be required to take samples from the process and use equipment and/or systems to monitor and record results as well as support less experienced team members to improve job knowledge and pass on information between shifts and departments as required.

 

The successful candidate will be numerate and literate at secondary education level and have good IT skills. Knowledge and experience gained in operating within a food manufacturing environment is also essential.

 

A forklift truck licence is required to carry out the task, so is desirable, however training can be given.
